All of our cast beds are made of steel tubing and 18mm castings. They are then oven baked and powder coated (which is how the individual finishings are applied as well). The frame itself without the rails and slats is about 20kg Doesn’t bend/break easily. They are made in the same process as the old antique beds were made all those years ago. They are extremely hard wearing. All of our cast beds feature solid cast iron knuckles that are welded into the frame. The cast sections are not like cheaper metal bed imitations, where they are bolted together and made from cheap steel. All of our cast sections are made from cast iron, and are integral to the frame of the bed.

Approved weight rating = 300kg including the mattress, provided the bed is setup correctly as per the manufacturers instructions
